Despite being in the very centre of the city, Pierrepont Place is a quiet cobbled street. We are a stone's throw from the Abbey, the Roman Baths, the Thermal Spa, the train station, and the high street. We are 4 minutes' level walk from the train, bus and coach station. We are 2 minutes' walk from a taxi rank.
From the train station... Head straight up Manvers Street, turn left on to Henry Street, then right on to Old Orchard Street "leading to Pierrepont Place". We are no. 5, on the right hand side, a brown door opposite a shop called Wool.
From the Abbey... Walk towards Parade Gardens and turn right on to Pierrepont Street. Then walk underneath the colonnade on your right on to a cobbled street. Turn the corner and we are no. 5, on the left hand side, a brown door opposite a shop called Wool.
From the "High Street"... Walk to the bottom of the high street until you reach Marks & Spencer on your left hand side. Turn left at Marks and Spencer and then take the first left down a cobbled street called Old Orchard Street "leading to Pierrepont Place. We are no. 5, on the right hand side, a brown door opposite a shop called Wool.
The street outside the house is a no parking zone (the lack of yellow lines is apparently due to the cobbles being grade 1 listed!). There is an NCP car park at the end of our road. Alternatively you can park for free just over the river (a 15 minute walk from the house). You can download a map here showing details of parking rates and how to get to the free parking area.
